POSITION SUMMARY:
- Under the direction of the Administrative Director of Imaging and Physical Therapy, Imaging Director, or their designee, the Radiology Aide will provide basic clinical and non-clinical support to the Radiology staff. Their primary expanded role is to augment, assist, and support the delivery of patient care in the Radiology Department and is demonstrated and evidenced by the successful completion of Radiology Department didactic and clinical mentorship. Must follow AIDET and accept reassignments and additional duties, when necessary, in a flexible and positive manner. Must maintain the department in compliance with rules and regulations set forth by governing agencies.
POSITION QUALIFICATIONS:
Education/License/Certification:
- Certified Nursing Assistant, EMT I Certification, Medical Assistant Certification or other equivalent medical certification preferred.
- Current BLA Certification is preferred.
- High School Diploma or equivalent required.
Experience/Skills:
- Background in pre-hospital setting is preferred.
