Job Description
POSITION SUMMARY
*BLS Required
Responsible and accountable for assisting the physician with cardiac catheterizations as well as vascular procedures, permanent pacemakers, and interventions. Perform emergent procedures associated with cardiac caths such as IABP and temporary pacemaker insertions. Must have knowledge of radiation safety and use of cath lab imaging equipment.
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS
- Graduate of AMA approved School of Radiology
- 1-2 years in Radiology
- 3-6 months in Cath Lab preferred
- ARRT Registry or other Nationally recognized registration in radiology
Louisiana Licensure - BLS Healthcare Provider Status-required
- BLS REQUIRED UPON HIRE
