About the Position

The Staff Technologist provides patient services using imaging modalities, performs radiographic procedures, applies principles of radiation protection and exercises professional judgment in the performance of procedures, provides patient care essential to radiographic procedures, recognizes patient conditions requiring immediate action and initiates life support measures, establishes and maintains a good rapport and professional relationship with fellow employees, other departments and the Medical Staff. Performs radiology services on call as needed.
Licenses/Certificates:
Current Texas Department of State Health Services Certified Medical Radiologic Technologist License (within 90 days of hire), American Registry of Radiological Technologists (ARRT) certification in Radiography (R) or within twelve months from hire date; Registry in Radiology preferred and current BLS certification required.
