Qualified external applicants eligible for a $15,000 sign on bonus! Additional relocation bonus may apply based on geographical location. Must be hired into a Full-Time or Part-time position; PRN positions are not eligible.

Schedule: 36 hours/week. Additional call required; 30 minute callback radius applicable.

  • We are a high-volume, high-acuity lab and a primary PCI center for Western Denver and Colorado mountain region that covers interventional, peripheral, EP and structural procedures.
  • Our EP program provides the latest technology for implantable cardiac devices, complex ablations, and works in tandem with the CVOR team.
  • Sub-categories include complex PCI, CTO's, and treatment of heart failure with Impella and IVAP.
  • We have recently renovated one of our interventional rooms with the anticipation of renovating one of our EP rooms and an additional interventional room.
Pay Range

$30.29 - $43.05/hr

Provide quality patient care to all patients within the Cardiac Cath/EP department. Demonstrates leadership abilities and is a role model for other associates. Acts as a clinical resource to unit personnel and assures current standards of practice for theunit. Provides leadership and support to the staff acting as a direct supervisor, reference and day-to-day operation of the lab. This includes scheduling of staff and patients, vendors, supply levels and availability, equipment and procedural room usage, and other tasks pertaining to operations as develop.

What You Bring/Job Requirements

In addition to bringing your whole self to the workplace each day, qualified candidates will need the following:

  • $4/hr differential applies
  • 2 years directly in Cath/Ep lab with competencies in scrub and monitoring roles for Cardiac Cath and device implant
  • Experience in EP Ablation cases required
  • Previous experience procuring supplies and managing consignment levels
  • High School Diploma or GED required
  • Associates Degree required or must obtain within 2 years of being in the role
  • Current Basic Life Support (BLS) from the American Heart Association required
  • Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) required within six months of hire
  • Colorado Surgical Assistant License or Surgical Technologist Certification upon hire unless performing SurgicalAssistant duties within the scope of another active Colorado license, certification, or registration (required for Colorado employed staff only)
  • Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist (RCIS) through Cardiovascular Credentialing International (CCI), or Registered Cardiac Electrophysiology Specialist (RCES), or Registered Radiologic Technologist (RRT) with postprimary certification of Cardiac-Interventional Radiography through The American Registry of Radiologic Technology

Physical Requirements: Medium Work - (Exert up to 50lbs force occasionally, and/or up to 20lbs frequently, and/or up to 10lbs constantly).
