SUMMARY: This position is accountable for managing the basic respiratory needs of patients in the Emergency, Acute Care and Critical Care units with consistency and a minimal degree of independence under the direction of the Medical Director. The incumbent delivers patient care in an efficient manner within the scope of the Respiratory Care Practice Act and CHCC's policies.

JOB REQUIREMENTS: Two year College Degree from a AMA approved respiratory care program required. CA RCP - Respiratory Care Practitioner License required. RRT - Reg Respiratory Therapist required (Applicants with less than 6 months experience within 12 months of hire or transfer into position). CPFT - Cert Pulmonary Function Tech required within 12 months of hire or transfer into position. BLS - Basic Life Support required. PALS - Pediatric Advanced Life Support required within 12 months of hire or transfer into position.

POSITION DETAILS: Per Diem, Hours Monday - Friday.
