Position Title: Receiving Coordinator

Essential Functions:

• Ensures that all supplies, equipment, and shipping functions occur daily
• Ensures that stock and non-stock supplies are received, verified, and entered into the Materials Management information system.
• Ensures stock is put away for the warehouse
• Responsible for coordinated outbound shipments daily
• Responsible for helping the warehouse coordinator with cycle counting
• Resolving problems and service disruptions with high standard of customer service
• Documents and works with departments on the solving of any discrepancies.
• Prepares all outgoing shipments of material
• Participates, as appropriate, in departmental continuous quality improvement plan.
• Works directly with department management to solve any discrepancies related to the receiving process.
• Key resource for hospital staff for finding product
• Assures compliance with standards for Infection Control, OSHA, DNV and Health Department regulations for Steward Health.

Requirements:

• The Highest education level, minimum High School diploma or equivalent
• Problem solving skills
• Able to lift moderately heavy loads on a continual basis

Preferences:

• Previous work experience in a health care supply environment
• Ability to read and communicate effectively in English, both verbally and in writing

Salary Range: $21.00 - $27.00
