Our Client is seeking motivated and reliable professionals to work as Recovery Advocates. The Recovery Advocate is responsible for providing supervision to patients and facilitates deliverable services while ensuring execution of program policies and procedures as well as staff and patient safety measures.

HOURS
*All shifts are available

SUMMARY OF CLIENT'S DESCRIPTION OF THIS OPPORTUNITY
* Provide patient supervision in a safe therapeutic setting.
* Utilize and promote the appropriate treatment model with all patients. Conduct appropriate interventions and provide support.
* Observe and document relevant patient information and behaviors. Ensure communication lines between all departments (clinical, medical, culinary, administrativeetc)
* Ensure patients adhere to the daily program schedule
* Maintain accurate documentation in electronic healthcare record system and complete reporting in a timely manner.
* Supervise patients in the self-administration of medication and documents appropriately - complete medication inventories under the supervision of the nursing department.
* Provide safe, timely, and supervised transportation of patients to off-site appointments or activities
* Conduct and document patient checks and counts.
* Conduct routine facility checks to ensure facility safety and security. Including patient and property searches
* Conduct and documents urine testing

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE & EDUCATION
* Minimum of a High School Diploma or its equivalent
* Maintain a valid Texas Drivers' License, present proof of automobile insurance and maintain a safe driving record
* Solid understanding of addiction, co-occurring models, and treatment modalities
* Solid understanding of patient development and family systems
* Minimum of one (1) year of experience as Recovery Advocate preferred
