The Recruiting Manager will report to the VP, Talent Acquisition and will lead a team of 10+ regionally based Operations Recruiters to manage candidate attraction, acquisition and employment processes for high volume Operations hiring. The recruiting team provides support to more than 300 District Managers across 40 states in a hybrid decentralized recruiting environment that produces 18,000 annual part-time hires. The Recruiting Manager will develop and manage associates, processes, systems and procedures and work directly with operations leadership to develop candidate acquisition strategies.

Essential Duties

  • Lead, coach, and develop a team of talent acquisition professionals to achieve recruiting objectives and results
  • Build and execute talent strategies within team to strengthen recruiting culture and candidate experience
  • Collaborate with Operations leadership in development of staffing programs designed to attract talent for current and future needs
  • Conduct market analysis to determine root cause of staffing shortages and implement adjustments as necessary to correct
  • Partner with internal teams and hiring managers to define talent needs and requirements
  • Develop innovative, scalable solutions to drive our hiring to meet Valet Living business objectives while reducing cycle time
  • Identify trends and leverage knowledge, data and competitive intelligence to develop creative, customized sourcing strategies
  • Participate in the development and implementation of department goals, objectives, and systems that directly impact the Talent Acquisition strategy and overall business plans for Valet Living
  • Manage recruitment budget to ensure appropriate advertising methods are used for best ROI
  • Develop and execute recruiting process and system training for field partners
  • Ensure recruiting processes and systems meet compliance and standards requirements
  • Manage candidate and employee recruiting satisfaction survey process
  • Other duties may be assigned

Qualifications

  • Bachelors Degree in Human Resources or related field, or equivalent work experience, required
  • Minimum of seven years experience in corporate recruiting, preferably in a high volume recruiting environment
  • Minimum of four years experience in a recruiting management role
  • Experience recruiting in a GIG economy is a plus
  • Experience working in a high-paced, rapid growth environment
  • Ability to supervise and motivate others in remote markets
  • Outstanding interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong organizational experience that demonstrates a high level of accuracy and attention to detail
  • Solid project management skills, including measurement, reporting and team performance analysis
  • Ability to learn quickly, demonstrate critical thinking, and make situation-appropriate decisions using sound judgment
  • Must be creative and a dynamic self-starter, comfortable with taking initiative and able to work against deadlines.
  • Must be able to influence, persuade, and motivate others
  • Strong working knowledge of recruiting principles
  • Proficient in Word, PowerPoint, Outlook
  • Advanced in Excel
  • Passion for candidate experience; constantly thinks about how to improve the experience for candidates and influences clients to treat candidates as customers
  • Ability to create standardized recruiting processes at all points in the candidate life cycle to improve recruiting efficiency
  • Be able to work independently and be a proactive problem solver
  • Skilled at partnering with hiring teams to build effective sourcing, assessment, and closing approaches with an ability to manage partner expectations through a deep understanding of ROI
  • Ability to travel up to 25% of the time as needed
