The Regional Director of Learning and Talent Development is responsible for the implementation and follow-through of all educational programs throughout their region. Responsibilities
  • Delivers classroom and webinar learning sessions as needed
  • Consults with Learning & Development team for deployment of eLearning and classroom-led trainings
  • Consults, assesses and recommends solutions to identify and close performance gaps
  • Coach and develop onsite and support associates to establish a high performing continuous development culture
  • Establish relationships with OJT (on the job training) Navigators, subject matter experts and managers/supervisors to support the area's training activities
  • Act as learning resource on Basecamp for newly acquired properties
  • Create, execute and deliver specific training plan for newly acquired properties which includes a 30 day follow-up.
  • Review shops and conduct any remedial training needed
  • Conduct individual coaching with associates
  • Deliver onsite audit follow-up and remedial training as needed
  • Attend business manager meetings, onsite team meetings and quarterly RPM and VP meetings
  • Enhance skills to include adult learning methodologies and ability to deliver one-on-one coaching and instruction, in-the-field training, casual small group training, and formal stand-up instruction
  • Continuously improve their skills and knowledge to maintain alignment with current learning and development trends
Qualifications
  • Bachelors degree in education, training or a closely allied field preferred; related experience may be substituted year-for-year for academic achievement
  • Outstanding communication, presentation, and facilitation skills
  • At least two years multi-family experience
  • Proficient in a variety of Property Management software
  • Excellent computer skills
  • Ability to research, analyze information and form recommendations
  • Ability to effectively work independently and within a strong team dynamic
