Job Description
OVERVIEW/SUMMARY OF POSITION:
The Dietitian is responsible for assisting in the implementation of the Eating Disorder Program, including initial patient assessment, follow-up consultation and education according to the nutrition philosophy of Sierra Tucson. The Dietitian will participate as a member of the multi-disciplinary treatment team in developing goals and individual treatment plan for each ED patient. Other responsibilities include nutritional group lectures, gentle meal, restaurant and grocery store outings. Assessment, treatment-planning and follow-up for non-ED patients needing nutritional assessments are also included.
SHIFT: Days SCHEDULE: will include some weekends

QUALIFICATIONS:
REQUIRED SKILLS:
- Knowledge and experience with addictive and behavioral health disorders
- Ability to conduct didactic groups and individual sessions
- Interviewing skills
- Ability to work independently within a multi-disciplinary team context
- Multi-cultural sensitivity
- Excellent time-management skills
PREFERRED SKILLS:
- Knowledge of and experience working with Eating Disorders
- Ability to work with a wide range of diagnoses and behaviors
- Knowledge of the 12-Steps
LICENSURE:
- Registered Dietitian required through American Dietetic Association (no AZ licensure available)
- Member of the American Dietetic Association
EDUCATION:
- Bachelors Degree in nutrition or related area required
- Regular enrollment in appropriate continuing education courses

EXPERIENCE:
- Minimum of four years experience as a Dietitian in a Healthcare setting.
