Reports To: Director, Perinatal Services

Summary: Under the direction of designated Nursing Supervisor (Nursing Director, Manager, Supervisor, assumes responsibility for the complete care of the assigned patients during the shift worked. Provide leadership by working collaboratively with ancillary, nursing and other personnel in maintaining professional standards of care. Responsible for the direction and supervision of personnel assigned to work with him/her. Emphasis will be toward assessment, planning implementation, evaluation and documentation of care. The patient to be served will be antepartum, intrapartum, postpartum, neonate, newborn, pediatrics, and adolescents.

Requirements: Current CA RN license, BLS, ACLS and NRP required. One year acute care clinical experience and/or in area application, preferred. Good communication and computer skills.
