Reports To: Director of Maternal Child Health, Nursing

Summary: Under the direction of the designated Nursing Supervisor (Nursing Director and Supervisor), assumes responsibility for the complete care of the assigned patients during the shift worked. Provide leadership by working collaboratively with ancillary, nursing, and other personnel in maintaining professional standards of care. Responsible for the direction and supervision of personnel assigned to work with him/her. Emphasis will be toward assessment, planning implementation, evaluation, and documentation of care. The patient population to be served will be antepartum, intrapartum, postpartum, neonate, pediatrics, and adolescent.

Requirements: Completion of the Registered Nurse Program. One year of acute care clinical experience and/or in the area of application preferred. Current California RN license required, current AHA BLS, PALS required. Basic computer skills preferred.
