Registered Nurse Per Diem - Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU)

SUMMARY: This position is accountable for providing competent nursing care for patients with common health problems, and is expected to deliver competent patient care to a full patient assignment. This position practices under the direction of the designated nurse executive, within the scope of the Nursing Practice Act, and in accordance with Children's polices.

EXPERIENCE:

• Minimum 1 year nursing experience and mastery of RN I performance standards and accompanying competencies required
• Experience in pediatrics, NICU and/or hospital inpatient setting a plus
• Bilingual skills desirable
  

EDUCATION/LICENCES/CERTIFICATIFICATIONS:

• Graduate from an accredited nursing program, Bachelors in Nursing strongly preferred
• Active California Registered Nurse licensure (RN)
• HeartCode Basic Life Support (BLS) within 30 days of hire or transfer into position
• Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) within 6 months of hire or transfer into position

POSITION DETAILS: Per Diem, Shifts may vary, must be available to work a minimum of 2 shifts per 2-week pay period

PAY RANGE: $50.97 - $77.60
