Our Client is seeking Registered Nurse (RN)/Licensed Practical Nurses (LPNs) to provide proactive patient-focused healthcare in the Tampa area. This role is within a correctional facility.
AVAILABLE HOURS
* All shifts are available (12hrs shift)
SUMMARY OF CLIENT'S DESCRIPTION OF THIS OPPORTUNITY
* Document all patient history and vital signs
* Assist with daily triage/sick call, minor medical/surgical procedures, patient assessments, examinations and/or treatment
* Initiate and document prescribed protocol agreement
* Respond to and initiate care for medical emergencies within the facility
* Observe and evaluate the performance of the licensed practical/vocational nursing staff
REQUIRED EXPERIENCE AND EDUCATION
* Minimum of an Associates Degree in Nursing or related field, or State certificate
* Minimum of one (1) year of experience working with population served in a nursing capacity
* Current State LPN or LVN licensure for state of residence
* Current Driver's License, car registration, and auto insurance
* Ability to effectively communicate with staff, individuals served, and families
