CVS Health has an exciting opportunity for you to join a growing team at our Machesney Park, IL/ Orlando, FL facility as an Reimbursement Specialist! You will sit on a dynamic team that supports Coram CVS/Specialty Services. This role is in an ever changing, energizing environment that provides you with the opportunity for learning new skills and continuing to grow your career.
As an Reimbursement Specialist, you will handle the completion of Patient Financial Services (PFS) tasks, including patient and payer follow up as needed. The Patient Financial Services tasks you will complete include contacting payers and patients regarding billing and/or accounts receivable while maintaining quality and productivity requirements. You will build and submit accurate and timely claims to payers, as well as research and analyze unpaid claims. You will be assisting in the resolution of denials, partial payments, and payment variances.
This position is currently Temporary Work from Home but will require you to work onsite in either Machesney Park, IL/ Orlando, FL once COVID policies/ restrictions are lifted. You must be willing to commute to one of these location.

Required Qualifications
- 1+ years of experience in a professional environment.
Preferred Qualifications
- Home infusion or durable medical equipment (DME) experience.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Customer service skills.
- Ability to work in a team environment.
- Ability to work with a sense of urgency.
- Experience with Medical Billing, Accounts Payable (A/P), Accounts Receivable (A/R) or Collections.
- Experience working with Healthcare reimbursement systems.
- Experience working in Microsoft Office, specifically Excel, Outlook and Word.
Education
- Verifiable High School Diploma or GED.
