Research Assistant Intern

The Research Assistant/Intern provides clerical support to the Research department for assigned clinical research studies; performs a variety of duties related to data entry, organizing, processing, and retrieving information in accordance with study protocol and under the supervision of the research study coordinator.

repares research chart including but not limited to prep, summary, and quality review as required and appropriate per study protocol in an organized, accurate, and confidential manner; maintains records in a standardized order according to the protocol including but not limited to retrieving and/or entering information accurately into computer, maintaining electronic health records files for participants, and indexing documents in appropriate medical record and account number. Inputs and retrieves data including but not limited to prioritizing and monitoring the completion of multiple requests; follows established policy and protocols including but not limited to ensuring all necessary paperwork is filled out according to standards; responds and complies with requests for information as authorized; performs scanning as necessary and required; has Responsibility for completing all requests within timeframes as established by departmental goals, protocols, and as documented by observation. Receives and responds to telephone calls and requests for information properly and according to procedure including but not limited to communicate with requestors on the status of requests. Assists in the general appearance of area including but not limited to storerooms, file areas, and storage areas for the department. Other duties as assigned.

High School Diploma required

Work Schedule: 8-hours, Days, Monday through Friday
