One of our clients is seeking a Residential Aide to provide support in Sellersville in a group home setting. Those needing support ranges from persons with traumatic brain injury (TBI), Autism, to intellectual developmental disabilities (IDD).
$13 - $14/hr depending on Contractors qualifations, availability, and skill.
SUMMARY OF CLIENT'S DESCRIPTION OF THIS OPPORTUNITY
* Provide support that enhances individuals' quality of life.
* Provide personal care management to individuals with autism and other intellectual and developmental disabilities.
* Perform light household duties and assist clients with daily functional activities including but not limited to meal preparation.
REQUIRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE
* Minimum of a High School Diploma or its equivalent
* Minimum of one (1) year experience working with persons with intellectual and developmental disabilities
* Ability to complete and pass given clearances: FBI, Child Abuse (ACT 126), and Criminal
* Must be able to produce current medical/health documents including: physical examination, Tuberculosis/TB Skin Test, CPR, and First Aid certification
* Experience in community based residential programs (preferred)
* Valid Driver's License
