Our Client is seeking motivated and reliable professionals to work in group/residential homes in the Garland, Wylie, Rowlett, and Plano areas of Texas.
AVAILABLE HOURS
* Full Time - 2nd and 3rd shifts available
* Weekdays and weekends
SUMMARY OF CLIENT'S DESCRIPTION OF THIS OPPORTUNITY
* Provide continuous on-going active treatment by supporting all areas of program training, operations, and the overall needs of the Individual in the Group Home.
* Provide transportation for individuals, via company vehicles and maintain status to legally operate company vehicles. You must have a valid/current Texas Driver's License and current auto insurance enabling you to drive at all times.
* Ensure the rights of the Individual, treating them with dignity and respect.
* Conduct all matters in a professional and mature manner while representing the Company.
* Stay alert and awake while on duty, ensuring a safe and clean living environment at all times.
* Model and reinforce all needs of Individuals and Group Home operations by "leading by example".
* Assist/monitor all self-medication passes and performance of tasks delegated by the Nurse.
* Encourage and support Individual to be active in community events, outings, and opportunities. Facilitate social interaction and socially valued behavior. Give Individuals a choice of their activities.
REQUIRED EXPERIENCE & EDUCATION
* One (1) year of experience in Direct Care experience preferred but willing to train
* Personal reliable transportation
* Must have a valid Texas Driver's License and current auto insurance for eligible candidate
* Minimum of a High School Diploma or its equivalent
* Must be at least 18 years of age
