POSITION SUMMARY:
- The R.N. Aide performs individually assigned patient care activities based upon established patient care policies and procedures under the direct supervision of a licensed nurse. Specific areas of assigned responsibility include monitoring of patient vital signs, providing patient hygiene and comfort measures, assisting with medical procedures, fulfilling nutritional needs, maintenance of a record of the care provided, and clerical activities assigned.
POSITION QUALIFICATIONS:
Education/License/Certification:
- Open to Students currently enrolled in an accredited School of nursing program and completed the first semester of the program or open to RNIPs who have failed NCLEX no more than one (1) time.
Experience/Skills:
- Completion of first semester of Nursing Program at accredited School of Nursing.
- Certified Nursing Assistant License from the State of California if working in DP/SNF Department as a RN Aide.
- Must have and maintain current BLS Certification or obtain within orientation process, prior to hands-on patient care.
