In these current and trying times, The Arc Tampa Bay is going above and beyond to work together in providing safe and continuous care to the individuals living in our group homes. We have 18 homes operating around Northern Pinellas County; 24 hours a day - 7 days a week. The Arc Tampa Bay has been in business for more than 60 years, and we will continue to provide care to this most vulnerable population no matter the challenges.

The Arc Tampa Bay is seeking a Registered Nurse to join our team and help us keep providing these necessary services. Of our 18 homes, half of them serve individuals with behavior disorders. The nurse we are seeking would be assisting these particular homes. Homes are located in Tarpon Springs, Dunedin, Palm harbor, Clearwater, and Safety harbor. The Behavior RN assists with trainning staff on med pass, quality assuring those med passes, advising on medical emergencies, etc.

At The Arc Tampa Bay, we are practicing social distancing, staying in small groups, and voluntary quarantining our residents. We do have PME and are getting more in donations and orders every day so we can be prepared if their is a symptomatetic individual. It is our highest priorty to protect both the individuals we serve and the staff working to care for them.

Minimum: 2 year Florida Board of Nursing Certifeid RN. At least two years experience with developmentally disabled persons, in residential settings is preferred. Must have experience in management & demonstrate knowledge of behavior modification techniques.

Employee will be required to successfully complete and update Medication Training, Transportation Training, Safety Care Training, First Aid Training, CPR Training (to include physical demonstration of the skill), HIV / Infection Control Training, Zero Tolerance Training, Core Competency Training, BAS Training and any additional trainings relevant to area of responsibility as assigned by the Residential Director.
