Position Summary:
Position is responsible for direct and indirect nursing care and performs general nursing duties as defined by the Nursing Practice Act.
Position Requirements:
- Arizona RN license in good standing
- BLS/ACLS required
- PICC Certified
- Bachelor's Degree preferred
- 3+ years experience preferred
- PALS / NRP preferred
- Ability to perform general nursing duties
- Demonstrated ability in placing vascular access devices
- Knowledge of Interventional radiographic equipment
- Demonstrate proficiency in IV Starts
- Ability to identify changes to patient's condition
- Ability to work effectively with computer based charting and other clinical software programs such as PACS;
- Basic computer skills
- Ability to provide education/mentoring staff members;
- Adaptability to change, organizational skills;
- Communicates effectively and timely with physicians/director/imaging services leadership/charge nurse/co-workers
- Works closely with radiologists and key personnel to provide diagnostic exams/procedures;
- Ability to understand, recall, and memorize written and verbal instructions;
- Ability to function independently and possess critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to speak/write fluently in English
- Ability to perform on-call assignment, variable work schedule that will include weekends and holidays
