Reports To: Director, Maternal Child Health

Summary: Under the direction of the designated Nursing Supervisor, Nursing Director, Manager, and Supervisor assumes responsibility for the complete care of the assigned patients during the shift worked. Provide leadership by working collaboratively with ancillary, nursing, and other personnel in maintaining professional standards of care. Responsible for the direction and supervision of personnel assigned to work with him/her. Emphasis will be toward assessment, planning implementation, evaluation and documentation of care. The patients to be served will be antepartum, intrapartum, postpartum, neonate, newborn, pediatrics, and adolescents.

Requirements: Current California RN license, BLS, NRP, and PALS required. One year experience acute care clinical experience and/or in area application preferred.
