POSITION SUMMARY:

Under the general supervision of the Director, Cath Lab, the Registered Nurse in the Cath Lab is primarily responsible for the provision of safe and effective care of the patient having invasive or non-invasive special procedures in the Cath Lab to include the immediate pre-procedure period, during the procedure, and immediately following the procedure.

POSITION QUALIFICATIONS:

  1. Current licensure in Texas as a Registered Nurse.
  2. Previous clinical nursing experience in cardiac catheterization laboratory environment desired.
  3. CPR/ACLS Certified.
  4. Previous experience in hospital environment preferred.
  5. Previous Critical Care experience.
