Position Summary
Communicates and collaborates with physicians and other members of the health team to provide consistent quality care for patients with wounds. Assists patients with wound healing modalities to achieve the level of independent functioning possible. Complies with the hospital and nursing philosophy and standards while performing job duties and responsibilities. Knowledge of adherence to monitoring of and compliance with all regulatory and licensing agency guidelines including but not limited to TJC, OSHA, AHCA, CMS, etc.
Education and Requirements
- Current Florida RN License
- Current BLS Certification
- Wound Care experience preferred
- Wound Care Nurse Certification preferred
- Ability to communicate in English
