Position SummaryThe CWOCN or CWON serves as the clinical resource and consultant for the acute, chronic, and rehabilitative care of patients with selected disorders of the gastrointestinal, genitourinary, and integumentary systems, such as complex draining wounds, ostomies, fistulae, dermal ulcers, tubes, and incontinence. The CWOCN or CWON should be prepared to provide the scope of the CWOCN or CWON practice which also includes other componentssuch as education, counseling, research, and administration.

Minimum Education RequirementsBSN, required

Minimum Experience Requirements1 year RN experience

License/Certifications

Current Colorado RN license OR Current RN license from a participating state in National LicensureCompact Current BLS certification from American Heart Association requiredCurrent Board Certification as a CWOCN or CWON, required (maintains recertification every 5 years per WOCNCB standards)

Schedule:

This is a part time position (. 20 FTE), working 1 eight hour shift per week.

Physical Requirements

Medium Work - exert/lift up to 50 lbs. force occasionally, and/or up to 20 lbs. frequently, and/or up to 10 lbs. constantly
