Robotic Process Automation Lead

The RPA Lead will be responsible for developing and implementing RPA across the organization and overseeing related automation activities, governance processes, and performance metrics.

CORE RESPONSIBILITIES

Lead and drive overall success of the RPA CoE and MORSCOs RPA strategy
Establish, track and report on RPA project performance metrics and financial impact
Drive the identification and assessment of automation opportunities within the organization
Manage automation activities, governance processes, and automation performance metrics
Understand and manage stakeholder expectations to enable a successful partnership between them and the RPA team
OPERATIONAL RESPONSIBILITIES

Responsible for the definition, design, configuration, testing, deployment and integration of new, modified and/or enhanced automations
Lead and/or participate in testing activities, including integration testing, end-to-end process testing and user acceptance testing
Lead and/or participate in the problem identification/error resolution process, including tracking, repairing and reporting defects
Lead and/or participate in various types of interviews, meetings or workshops to define and design automation solutions. Create, edit, revise and finalize life-cycle deliverables such as requirements specifications, solution design documents, and operating instructions (i.e. standard operating procedure)
Create and maintain process, technical, project or other documentation, as may be required, to support configuration, project management, and training
Support quality assurance activities as needed
PEOPLE MANAGEMENT RESPONSIBILITIES

Lead and/or participate in the people development process, including identifying skills needed by staff to operate RPA software and tools
Forecast staffing and resource (infrastructure, license, etc.) needs as the program grows
STRATEGIC RESPONSIBILITIES

Manage vendor relationships and new vendor selection
Deploy a multi-disciplinary approach (i.e. machine learning, AI tools, business analytics, etc.) to solving business challenges
Contribute to building a repository of tools, playbooks and best practices

Minimum Qualifications

Bachelors degree in Business, Engineering, Accounting, Information Systems or equivalent work experience.
5+ years of experience with activities, tasks, practices and deliverables for assessing and documenting business opportunities, benefits, risks, and success factors of potential applications
2 - 3 years of robotics / automation experience within a prior organization, including designing, implementing, and monitoring cross-functional RPA processes
2 -3 years of prior analyst experience with finance, operations, supply chain, or other shared services functions and related systems and applications of varying scope and complexity
Basic knowledge of various programming languages: VS C/C++, HTML5, CSS, PHP, SQL, JavaScript, Java, VBA/VBS, XML/REST
Familiar with Agile, Six Sigma, Lean and other methodologies
Familiarity with intelligent technologies and tools such as machine learning (ML), natural language processing, chatbots, etc.
Familiarity with cloud hosting a plus
Proven experience leading a cross functional responsibility
Demonstrated experience transforming businesses through enterprise-wide large-scale transformation initiatives
Strong project management experience and skills
Track record of meeting and/or exceeding established client, project and performance goals
Excellent interpersonal communications skills; able to effectively communicate and build relationships with stakeholders, process teams, leadership, and third parties
Strong written and verbal communication skills and ability to present in a clear and concise manner to all levels within the enterprise
Ability to think clearly, analyze quantitatively, problem-solve, and prioritize tasks

Preferred Qualifications

MBA or Masters degree in related fields
