Job Description
The Middle Market Sales Executive for Aetna is responsible for selling to groups of 100-5,000 employees. This person will be responsible for selling employer-sponsored group health, dental, vision, and voluntary plans.

They will develop and cultivate strong relationships with organizations and brokers to maximize sales opportunities and achieve profitable growth.

This person will identify various ways to partner with the client by drawing from the entire spectrum of the product line, demonstrating a keen understanding of the clients multifaceted needs and benefits of Aetnas full product array (e.g., fully vs. self-insured, a combination of products and/or covers a range of industries).

Coordinates sales materials, testimonials, and subject matter expert involvement in support of the successful delivery of prospect presentations.

Communicates expertise on product solutions, industry trends, and emerging marketplace needs.

Pay Range
The typical pay range for this role is:
Minimum: 48,300
Maximum: 96,600

Please keep in mind that this range represents the pay range for all positions in the job grade within which this position falls. The actual salary offer will take into account a wide range of factors, including location.

Required Qualifications
- 4+ yrs. previous group benefits sales experience with either a competing carrier or Consultant/broker.
- Must reside in the Ohio/Kentucky Region.
- Effective written and verbal communication skills.
- Excellent customer service skills.
- High proficiency with the Microsoft Office suite and other desktop applications.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, stressful environment.
- Capable of working in a team environment.
- Flexibility to conduct in-person meetings and travel within assigned geography.
- Insurance Producer License

Preferred Qualifications
5+ years selling through Broker. Consulting and distribution channels. Experienced working with plan sponsors. Carrier experience in the Middle Market space with United Health Care, Humana, Anthem, Medical Mutual of Ohio. Experienced with Self-funded and fully insured plans.

Education
College degree or equivalent experience.
