Job Description
As a Sales Support Consultant, youll manage the request for proposals (RFP)/request for Information (RFI)/ request for quotation (RFQ) processes to support new and existing business sales. The sales support consultant will work in the Aetna Signature Administrators (ASA) business unit and is essential to working with Sale Executives, Account Managers, Underwriting, and network informatics teams to support retaining existing business and to continue to win new business.

As part of the Wholesales Sales Support Team, you will use internal business information systems to design, develop, and/or produce professional sales exhibits such as GeoAccess reports, Disruption Analysis, Discount Analysis, Claim Repricings and others.

A high-performing colleague in this role will:

- Take ownership of overall proposal submissions, coordinate responses, and facilitate completion of sales exhibits
- Analyze strategic capabilities match for ASA and effectively articulate a value proposition with sales executives/managers
- Assist in the development and execution of customer sales strategies
- Work independently on regular analytics requests, create new deliverables as you see client needs developing or new strategic opportunities

This role can be considered WFH-US, however, ideal location would be close proximity/near a CVS/Aetna office on the East Coast.

Required Qualifications
- 2+ yrs of relevant experience
- Knowledge and experience in managed care and/or sales such as: product/process/systems knowledge, underwriting, sales support, account management, client services/support, and RFPs/RFIs/RFQs
- Strong presentation and communication skills; ability to modify communication delivery based on audience
- Exceptional project management skills and attention to detail
- Demonstrated planning/organizational skills; ability to work on many issues at once and to prioritize work
- Must have strong computer skills with proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Word applications
- Demonstrated ability to develop strong working relationships with matrix partners to drive deliverables

Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in similar position (Healthcare sales support) highly preferred
-Microsoft Access is DESIRABLE
- Some college work desired, preferably in Management Information Systems (MIS), Health Informatics, or related healthcare field

Education
HS Diploma/Equivalent and/or experience
