Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Supports the streamlined application life cycle (analyze, build, test, implement, train and support) of the companys Salesforce system.
- Monitors end-user usage of systems and performs daily administrative tasks
- Participate in ongoing system maintenance and data cleansing, including de-duping, system cleanup and data quality review
- Responsible for monitoring Salesforce application permissions to ensure auditable data transactions, and separation of duty audit controls
- Responsible for logging, reporting, and resolution of Salesforce application issues with Salesforce.com and third-party system integrators
- Frequently interfaces with business lines, including management, and/or internal resources to ensure quality, timeliness, and testing of all project/release work.
- Responsible for implementing and maintaining the Salesforce configuration, schema, custom objects, and workflows across Sales Cloud/Service Cloud instance.
- Monitors, reviews and identifies areas within application that can be enhanced to increase sales efficiency and productivity.
- Helps research transactional and reporting issues, identifying root causes, and driving resolutions to prevent repeat occurrences
- Trouble shoot user issues and managed incoming tickets relating to field and record accessibility
- Assists with SFDC Data imports and maintain integrations to other business applications.
- Assist in the preparation of the Smoke Testing and User Acceptance Testing (UAT) stages including establishing testing scenarios and documenting successes and failures to relay to the development team for resolution.
- Software engineering skills with Force.com Platform (Apex, VisualForce, SOQL, Unit Testing)
- Working knowledge of Jitterbit and GitHub
- Experience integrating Salesforce.com with other applications via real-time, batch, sync/async
- High energy and ability to work both independently and across multiple teams in fast paced environment
Experience:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, MIS or related field preferred
- 2+ years experience as a Release Engineer
- 2+ years previous development experience with Salesforce.com
- Experience with developing release plans and rollback plans across platforms
- Experience with any Salesforce CI/CD tool
Skills and Abilities Required:
- Bachelor's degree
- Salesforce Administrator Certification required
- Salesforce Certified Platform App Builder required
- Other Salesforce certifications a plus
- Enterprise Databases and Force.com Product knowledge required
- Software engineering skills with Force.com Platform (Apex, VisualForce, SOQL, Unit Testing)
- Experience with Agile development methodologies
