Description

Job Responsibilities:

The SAP Operations Administrator is expected to be intensely familiar with the people, process, and methods within their departments.

Specific duties include, but are not necessarily limited to:

• Create and maintain SAP Material Master (MM) data
• Create and maintain accurate and consistent multi-level Bills of Materials (BOM) and Routings in SAP
• Provides immediate support to production issues related to the BOMS and routing structure during the product life cycle to ensure continuity of business
• Understands cost impact of changing BOMs and Routings as well as impact on production orders, inventory values, and variances
• Continuously conducts BOM and Routing audits to ensure accuracy of all items
• Analyzes all BOM and routing change requests to ensure that each level of the multi-level BOM is changed in accordance with the requested change and ensures that the change request is necessary
• Facilitates any discussions that are required to resolve issues relating to BOM and Routing creation and maintenance

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree or 2+ year experience working with SAP BOMs & Routings
• Practical experience and sound understanding of SAP processes and relevant activities for operating SAP landscapes
• Understands what the SAP Material Master fields do and drive in a manufacturing environment
• Business experience from the manufacturing or processing industry is an advantage
• Excellent communication skills combined with the ability to adapt to different contacts in different cultures
• Demonstrated ability to prioritize and simultaneously over multiple activities.
• Strong analytical and problem solving skills
• Self-motivated to achieve and promote high levels of performance.
• Lifelong learner; technologically savvy.
