Description

Position Summary:

The Quality Control Administrator reports directly to the Chief Inspector and is responsible for handling administrative duties within the Quality Control Department including but not limited to log book research, scanning and making copies of records as required, filing documents and records.

Essential Functions and Responsibilities:

  • Position requires a thorough review of aircraft records and logs to determine the current condition of the aircraft referencing the Aircraft Maintenance Manual requirements.
  • Must be able to interpret maintenance manuals, aircraft records and log entries.
  • Working knowledge in Microsoft Excel and Word as well as other programs required.
  • Perform Scanning and filing records in a detailed and organized manner.
  • Keep aircraft logs books secure and orderly.
  • Update a maintenance required report (MRR) for all aircraft in for inspections
  • Assist the Chief Inspector with editing and correcting Repair Station documents and manuals
  • Assist the Chief Inspector with filing and maintaining Employee training records and requirements.
  • Monitor and maintain tool calibration schedules

Qualifications

Physical Requirements:

This work requires the following physical activities.

  • Occasional lifting up to 50 pounds.

Environmental Conditions:

  • Industrial/Hangar environment.
  • Office environment

Minimum Education Requirement:

  • High School Diploma or GED.

Minimum Work Experience / Requirements:

  • Prior experience working at a Repair Station, preferred
  • Excellent inter-personal skills required. Position has significant interaction with our customers and coworkers
  • Excellent computer skills.
  • Microsoft office skills, including excel required.
  • Previous experience with aircraft maintenance tracking software such as CAMP, Flight Docs, and Traxxal preferred.
  • Excellent customer service, organizational, and communication skills required.
  • Detail-oriented and be able to multi-task in fast-paced environment.
  • Experience with aviation maintenance software a plus.
  • Ability to arrive early or stay late as work load dictates, including an occasional Saturday if needed.

Other Requirements:

  • Ability to pass background / drug-screening test.
  • Clean driving record.
