SCALE OPERATOR
Diversified Sourcing Solutions is seeking a highly motivated individual for the Scale Operator position, in Tampa Florida. This individual must be highly driven, and possess a knowledge of scale operations, basic computer skills, good communication and attention to detail.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
Maintain a safe and productive working environment.
Ensures that materials are properly packaged, identified, tagged and scanned.
Loads materials in a safe and secure manner.
Keep the scale apron clean
Weigh material and record weight
Coordinates movement of materials to the scale.
Coordinates movement of finished products to the finished yard.
Daily testing and maintenance of the scale.
All other duties as assigned by the management.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
Ability to stand, stoop and walk for the duration of shift.
Must be able to obtain a forklift license
Neat and accurate handwriting
Basic knowledge of Excel, Word and Outlook
Ability to work over 10 hours per week in overtime as directed by management.
Ability to recognize and solve practical problems or issues.
Follow safe work practices, and report any unsafe conditions and/or accidents to management.
High attention to detail
Excellent hand and eye coordination
HIGHLY QUALIFIED CANDIDATES WILL ALSO POSSESS:
High School Diploma or GED
One (1) Year of previous scale operation experience
One (1) Year of previous experience in a manufacturing or fabrication environment
