HOURLY RATE
* $35 - $37/hr - depending on contractor's qualifications, availability, and skill
SUMMARY OF CLIENT'S DESCRIPTION OF THIS OPPORTUNITY
* Work in the absence of the school nurse to minimize health problems that interfere with effective learning.
* Understand the purpose of the school nursing program and procedures within the state of Arizona.
* Participate in the health evaluation process of students.
* Aid children in developing their full potential in health and education.
* Demonstrate understanding, patience, and tact with students, parents, teachers and administrators.
* Assume responsibility in caring for the sick and injured in the school in accordance with school policy.
* Maintain school health records.
* Communicate with students, staff, and parents in regards to student's health.
* Establish rapport with peers and school staff
* Ability to manage a school nurse's office.
* Support school and district mission and vision.
* Utilize effective verbal and written communication skills.
* Demonstrate flexibility, dependability, organization, and collaboration.
* Perform additional duties as assigned by Administrator
REQUIRED EXPERIENCE & EDUCATION
* Valid Arizona RN
* Arizona Fingerprint Clearance Card
