One of our clients is seeking a School Soical Worker- LCSW-C in Baltimore, MD. Provide Clinical Soical Work services to students and their Families.
CLIENT'S HOURS

SUMMARY OF CLIENT'S DESCRIPTION OF THIS OPPORTUNITY
*Provides social work services to students, including psychosocial assessment and treatment/interventions, including but not limited to individual and group therapy, case management services and family therapy if needed.
*Participates in interdisciplinary school committees.
*Provides appropriate documentation according to departmental guidelines, including but not limited to required IEP documentation, progress notes, psychosocial assessments, works with teams to develop Functional Behavioral Assessments, Behavioral Intervention Plans, and reports for outside agencies.
* Functions effectively within a multidisciplinary team, by advocating for client needs, participating actively in team plans, and using clear, concise, and assertive communication in written and oral form.
*Demonstrates a competent approach to crisis management including clinical and any necessary administrative follow-up. Will appropriately document crisis intervention forms as required by interdepartmental guidelines.
*Maintains working relationships with staff, students and their families, interdisciplinary and interagency representatives, Institute staff and visitors.
*Considers cultural factors in treatment planning for students and in working with their families
CLIENT'S REQUIRED EXPERIENCE & EDUCATION
*Master's Degree or equivalent working experience in psychology, counseling, social work, or related field.
*Must be licensed in the State of Maryland, by the Board of Social Work Examiners, Maryland State Department of Health and Mental Hygiene as a Licensed Certified Social Worker-Clinical (L.C.S.W.-C.)
*Clinical care focus is on the neonate, pediatric, Adolescents and as well as some adults with disabilities.
