Screening Technician - Temporary

POSITION SUMMARY

Screening Technicians are responsible for screening all individuals entering the facility to ensure the highest infection control standards for safety of patients and all healthcare providers within the facility. The screener will complete the screening task with the individual, take the individuals temperature, ensure face masks are worn, and adhere to the current hospital visitation policy and also to the hospital infection control guidelines. Screeners will also transport patients to other departments when necessary and various other duties

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS

• HS Diploma or GED equivalency required
• Maintains high standards for work areas and appearance
• Must have the ability to address the special needs of all patients in pertinent areas including: Adult 18 to 64 and Geriatrics 65 and above
• Professionalism and communication skills are essential
• Proficient computer and organizational skills
