LINX: Security Project Manager

The Project Manager reports to the Security Operations Manager and is responsible for managing all aspects of project delivery to meet client expectations and contractual obligations. Specific responsibilities include:

  • Develop positive working relationship with customers through timely and consistent communication, project scope comprehension, and an attitude of service.
  • Establish clear and consistent lines of communication with all internal and external members of the project team. (Customer, Contractors, Customer Reps, Sales, Engineeringetc.)
  • Provide leadership and accountability to team members, develop positive team chemistry and morale by promoting LINX culture and values.
  • Review project contract documents, research project SOW, conduct scope/functionality review with customer to verify design intent and desired functionality.
  • Review bill of material, verify accuracy of all material sold, and what material will be required to complete project scope.
  • Provide financial accountability to all assigned projects through proper resource management, updating team on financial status of projects, driving productivity and efficiency.
  • Conduct weekly meetings with Field Leaders to coordinate adequate resources and provide timely, accurate and detailed project updates to the customer and stakeholders as needed.
  • Schedule and conduct project kick-off meeting with customer and stakeholders to set clear expectations for project requirements and delivery.
  • Coordinate with project Field Leaders to schedule technical field staff to optimize daily efficiencies to support project needs and utilize project tracking documents to ensure profitability.
  • Protect company assets by ensuring that technical field staff is educated on the proper use of equipment and follow company use and safety policies.
  • Submit billing to Admin/Project Coordinator on time monthly for processing.
  • Provide complete and accurate project close out documentation to customer and internal LINX personnel.
  • Estimate, create and submit all change order documentation to customer for approval, and submit all approved change orders to Admin/Project Coordinator for processing.
  • Keep detailed record of all internal/external project meetings, changes to project documents and scope, and disseminate all recorded information to appropriate parties associated with the project.
  • Implement and manage quality assurance measures, and verify all work is performed to LINX standards.
  • Must possess excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Education and Experience

  • College degree preferred. High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Certifications from Security Manufacturers supplier preferred but not required.
  • Must be proficient with desktop computer software and systems.
  • 5+ years of project Management experience, or PMP preferred.

Must pass 7-year criminal background check and pre-employment physical & drug screen; must have valid Colorado drivers license.
