Job Description

Allied Universal has security jobs and are seeking to fill the position for a GSOC Intelligence Analyst. The Intelligence Analyst position is a key component of the Global Security Operations Center. The Intelligence Analyst (IA) is responsible for tracking, managing, and reporting any and all threats and incidents that impact the Clients assets globally.

QUALIFICATIONS/REQUIREMENTS:

  • Be at least 18 years of age with high school diploma or equivalent for non-driving and 21 years of age for driving positions
  • Possess effective written and oral communication and interpersonal skills with ability to deal with all levels of personnel and the general public in a professional and effective manner
  • Valid guard card/license, as required in the state for which you are applying.
  • As a condition of employment, employee must successfully complete a background investigation and a drug screen in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws
  • For Driving Positions must be 21 years of age, Current state drivers license, clean driving record (no points in prior 3 years), minimum level of insurance as required by Company policy, and ability to safely operate a vehicle required.
  • Monitors closed circuit television systems and alarms
  • Monitors and operates facility computers systems regularly, as assigned
  • Display exceptional customer service and communication skills
  • Have intermediate computer skills to operate innovative, wireless technology at client specific sites
  • Ability to handle crisis situations at the client site, calmly and efficiently
  • Answer phones and greets guests and employees
  • Handle security issues or emergency situations appropriately. Contact Emergency Services, such as EMT, Fire Dept., etc.
  • Participates in industry specific security/safety training programs to offer our clients the best trained officers at their sites
  • Able to:
    • Work in various environments such as cold weather, rain/snow or heat
    • Occasionally lift or carry up to 40 pounds
    • Climb stairs, ramps, or ladders occasionally during shift
    • Stand or walk on various surfaces for long periods of time

DUTIES AND RESPONSITIBILITIES

WORLD EVENTS

The IA will be responsible for daily monitoring of all incoming alerts, event notifications and International SOS (ISOS) travel advisories. The IA will also be responsible for tracking and monitoring global news sites for incidents that could potentially impact our corporate operations, offices and employee safety/travel and immediately notify the Security Manager.

INTELLIGENCE PRODUCTS

As a core function, the IA is responsible for drafting and disseminating SOC Intelligence products to include Alerts, Domestic and International Intelligence Assessments, Situational Reports, Executive Briefs, and Be on the Lookout (BOLO) advisories. These products are generally in response to requests or by the IA to alert of high-risk locations and active domestic or international critical incidents. All reports will be reviewed by the GSOC Supervisor and Global Threat Manager before dissemination.

  • Alerts (mass communications) Report on an emerging or ongoing event/issue that could have potential implications to our offices and travelers, such as a manmade or natural disaster.
  • Situational Reports: SITREPS are reports driven by a threat or potential threat to offices and employees. They are time sensitive reports that are disseminated to business units across the company and executive management.
  • Domestic Risk Assessment a detailed city analysis broken down by crime statistics, significant recent events, venue assessment, protest activity, and general information.
  • International Risk Assessment a detailed country analysis broken down by five key threat vectors: security environment; political instability; civil unrest; natural disasters; health risks.
  • Executive Brief a one-page abbreviated version of an assessment.
  • BOLO a one-page write-up on a specific individual with identifying info and reason for BOLO.

DATABASES & INVESTIGATIONS

The IA will conduct open source investigations, identify, and analyze risks inherent to specific locations as it pertains to global corporate interests. The IA will provide the weekly Travel and Medical reports, these reports offer a risk rating for countries around the world. The IA will utilize several databases daily, such as NC4, TravelTracker and will also systematically monitor online open source reporting for inappropriate communications, threats, and any activity that could impact the company, its operations or employees. A weekly report on such findings from social media sites will be provided to the Security team.

PRODUCT LOGS

Finally, the IA will maintain and submit weekly the GSOC Global Activity Log?a compilation of past, present, and upcoming global activity categorized by region and broken down by the following five groups: health issues; travel advisories, geo-political/terrorism/crime; civil unrest/instability; disasters. Additionally, the IA will maintain and submit the GSOC Intelligence Analyst Log?a running spreadsheet of all submitted products and activity the previous week.
