The Atlanta/Georgia/Gulf States commercial market (employer-based coverage) is positioned for aggressive growth over the next 3-5 years. This role will be responsible for managing a book of business comprised of accounts ranging between 100 - 5,000 employees.
The Sr Account Manager is responsible for overall retention and cross-sale targets within their specific book of business. Additionally, this role is responsible for clearly articulating Aetnas value proposition, product information, specific policies, procedures, and other information directly impacting their accounts.
This role requires that the individual collaborates with internal partners to develop a comprehensive growth strategy for the assigned book of business that aligns with the accounts objectives, financial position, and overall employee benefit strategy. Additionally, the Sr Account Manager will be responsible for developing a business plan that presents both a strategic and tactical plan to achieve their annual goals.

The Sr Account Manager role is in Atlanta; role can have some virtual/remote support.

Required Qualifications
* 5+ years of sales and/or account management experience
* MS Office skills (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc), SalesForce and other business-related platforms
* Proficient verbal and written communication skills

Preferred Qualifications
* Consultative sales skills and acumen
* Ability to obtain, analyze data and provide meaningful insights to both internal & external partners

Education
* Licensure as required by state
* College degree or equivalent experience
