This position can be located anywhere in the U.S.A.

Participate in the development and improvement of predictive analytics models used by Actuarial and Underwriting partners to better understand and price commercial health risk, leveraging machine learning and other techniques. Communicate results and proposed changes to actuarial leadership to gain buy-in to move forward on projects.

Partner with team members to form descriptive analytics solutions to explain prior experience and member behavior, driving strategic decisions by leadership and markets. Monitor the results of tools leveraging predictive analytics and recommend improvements.

Interact with multiple data scientists on various projects related to improving pricing methodology. Serve as the conduit between Analytics and Actuarial to drive decision making and efficient use of resources.

Be involved in various projects coordinating efforts of actuarial analysts, data scientists, market leadership, underwriters, and product specialists to develop analytics solutions.

The ideal candidate is an actuary with the drive to learn and apply the latest analytics techniques. Demonstrates a high level of personal drive, technical acumen, and communication.

Required Qualifications
-Bachelor's degree with 3+ years related actuarial work experience.
-Must have passed a minimum of 4+ actuarial exams and currently progressing toward attaining the ASA designation
-Strong technical, analytical, and communication skills
