Job Description
As a Senior Analytic Consultant, you will be developing maintaining expert knowledge of the rapidly changing healthcare marketplace, pharmacy benefits management industry, Aetna and CVS Health programs, services and sales goals. The Sr Analytic Consultant works in the Aetna commercial pharmacy business unit and is essential to working with internal Underwriting, Sales, and Finance teams to provide a better insight into a clients business problem to be solved, formulating a data-driven approach to solve the problem and finally, analyzing and drawing conclusions related to client financial performance and risk associated. The position is responsible for being able to communicate complex analytic findings and conclusions in an easy to understand way. You will support sales and underwriting in growing our business by forecasting profitability of multiple client pricing options and participating in the development of Aetna's pharmacy pricing strategy to retain existing business and to continue to win new accounts.

As part of the Analytics Team, you will provide executive decision makers with the insight to better understand client pharmaceutical data and the fact-based financial modeling necessary to make informed decisions on key pricing strategies.

A high-performing colleague in this role will:
* Provide analytic financial analysis, based on both standard template models and your own custom-created ad hoc processes, to the pharmacy underwriting team.
* Develop and maintain pricing and analytic models, updating to ensure they accurately reflect dynamic market conditions and pricing strategies.
* Effectively communicate key findings of your work to internal partners and executives.
* Work independently on regular analytics requests, create new deliverables or models as you see client needs developing or new strategic opportunities.
* Collaborate as a subject matter expert in cross-functional enterprise initiatives.

Required Qualifications
* 2+ years experience in a financial, analytic, or technical role.
* Technical expertise in Microsoft Excel.

Preferred Qualifications
* Knowledge of health insurance, managed care, or prescription drug industry preferred.

Education
Bachelor Degree A college degree with concentration typically in Actuarial Science, Mathematics, Finance, Statistics, Economics or related field, or equivalent work experience.
