CVS Health is looking for hands on, self driven colleagues who want to be part of a dynamic, evolving digital team. As a Digital Engineer with CVS Health, you will work with an agile team to build high quality, usable products for customers/stakeholders. The position is located in the Northbrook Illinois office or the Richradson, Texas office and candidates must be able to be in the office to work with product teams.
The ideal candidate will be able to effectively contribute to the delivery of software products through their technical efforts in collaboration with cross functional and cross organizational teams.
In the Senior Android Engineer role, you will:
* Participate in various Agile development team meetings including standups, requirement reviews and demos
* Designing, Develop, and code for Andoid applications to meet customer expectations and specifications as discussed and detailed in Epics, Features and Stories (SAFe Agile process)
* Work with other Android developers and experts in the broader organization
* Research and develop on new /pcoming Android features for mobile Application
* Collaborate closely and actively with development and QA engineers, architects, product owners and other technical partners

Required Qualifications
* 5+ years Experience in analysis, designing, development, implementation, and testing software
* 5+ years in Android Application Development
* 5+ years coding in Java or Kotlin
* 3+ years in developing Android application interfaces
* 3+ Experience with Android development debugging and crash analysis techniques
* 3+ Experience with Git source control to committing, branching and merge changes to the source code in repository
* Excellent analytical and problem solving/troubleshooting skills
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Preferred Qualifications
* Working knowledge of Google Play console
* fioKnowledge on Charles Proxy and any UI tool to make REST/SOAP calls
* Knowledge of MVVM, MVC and other industries followed design pattern.
* Knowledge of Material Design for Android.
* Working knowledge of network libraries for Android and it's security
* Knowledge of Android Jetpack.
* Experience in Firebase
* Experience in debugging issues using debugger and Device Explorer
* Experience with REST API and network calls
* Experience with third-party libraries and APIs.
* Experience managing software deliverables using tools like Jira / Rally
* Experience with Agile delivery models such as SAFe
* Experience with performing security/code scan and providing the solutions to avoid any vulnerability attack
* Solid knowledge of secure architectiure and desgn: PCI, OWASP top 10, secure coding standards

Education
A bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent in Engineering, Computer Science, Information Systems, IT, or closely related technical field.
