OLder Adults / Senior Center Director

LOCATION: Laura Danieli Senior Activity Center

STATUS: FT / Non-Exempt (40 hrs. wkly.)

POSITION SUMMARY: Responsible for the overall day-to-day operations of the Senior Center, including meal deliveries, activity programs, transportation services, and facility upkeep. Responsible for training and supervising staff and volunteers, managing budget, fundraising, maintaining records, community engagement, guest satisfaction, and compliance with organizational and licensing agency standards.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required
• Must be able to pass a criminal background check
• College degree in Recreation Management, Social Work or related field preferred
• 3 years + experience in Recreation Management and Program Implementation
• 3 years + experience in a management and supervisory role
• 3 years + experience in working with seniors
• Excellent working knowledge of computers and MS Office
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Must currently possess or be able to obtain a Food Handlers card
• Must currently possess or be able to obtain CPR and First Aid certification
• Must currently possess or be able to obtain a Fingerprint clearance card
