Senior Consultant, Business Analysis Member Services

Job Description
In this Sr Consultant, Business Analyst role you will be supporting the Member Services Reporting Teams by serving as a liaison between the Member Services Operations business community and the Member Services Reporting team. You will be responsible for providing technical reporting and file creation solutions to meet business needs, as well as assisting with process redesign and documentation for new reporting technologies.

As a Sr Consultant, you will identify and plan Member Services business and operational tasks, as well as the scope, constraints, and dependencies of the tasks. In this role, you will be handling end-to-end requirements ownership associated with projects and project planning for the Member Services area. This includes reviewing test plans, results, and the resolution of test incidents. The Sr Consultant is responsible for overseeing, driving, organizing, documenting, reporting and ensuring urgent resolution of cases supported by the Member Services Reporting Team.

This position has the ability to be 100% work from home with preference being located close to one of our major hubs: Fairfield NJ, Raleigh NC, Tampa/Orlando FL, Monroeville PA, Mount Prospect IL, Lenexa KS, Phoenix AZ, Redlands CA.

Required Qualifications
1. 3+ years of related Business Analyst experience working within a Reporting Team Development environment or a portfolio team business environment, managing projects, ad-hoc request and issues.
2. 2+ years experience within an operational department in a PBM environment
3. Experience creating process flow documentation
4. Innovative consultant mindset.
5. Strong understanding of database concepts.
6. Experience identifying and driving process improvement initiatives
7. Experience with business process improvement, project management and quality practices.
8. Ability to prioritize and meet deadlines with tight timeframes.
9. 1+ years of Microsoft Office experience, particularly Word, Access, Visio, and Excel

Preferred Qualifications
1. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills. Must be able to communicate cross functionality and build relationships.
2. Software Development Life Cycle process experience and knowledge to insure the delivery of a quality reporting application with the appropriate documentations and on-going support.
3. Ability to be a mentor to less experienced Business Analyst and team members to drive compliance for best practices, methods, standards and processes.
4. Have a basic understanding when it comes to Microsoft SQL Server, Microsoft SQL Server Integration Services (SSIS), and Microsoft SQL Server Reporting Services (SSRS).
5. Experience with business intelligence software such as Cognos, Crystal, Business Objects, or Tableau.
