Job Description:The Senior Cybersecurity Reference Architect is responsible for leading a small team of reference architects as well as taking a hands on role in documenting and organizing relevant security architecture documents. The senior architect will define an overall vision and strategy for reference architecture within Global Cyber Security.
The senior architect also designs and implements cyber security architecture standards to be used across the organization following the principles of confidentiality, integrity, availability, and defense in depth. The architect is responsible for reviewing and documenting the security requirements, design decisions, risks, and mitigations for multiple areas of cyber security.
This role requires a balance of technical expertise and organizational acumen, with the ability to lead a team and make strategic decisions.
This role will be a part of the Global Cyber Security function and Cyber Security Architecture and Engineering team, and will report to the Director of Cyber Security Architecture and Engineering.
Responsibilities & Accountabilities
- Lead and mentor a team of cybersecurity professionals, fostering collaboration and leveraging individual strengths.
- Develop and document advanced cybersecurity strategies aligned with industry best practices and company goals.
- Collaborate with senior business leaders to define security documents to be used by project teams.
- Continuously monitor and analyze emerging threats and trends, ensuring knowledge stays ahead of attackers.
- Design and implement advanced access control and disaster recovery plans to safeguard digital assets.
- Contribute to strategic planning for the cybersecurity department, managing risks and optimizing defense against evolving threats.

The expected salary range for this role is $149,260 - $190,310/ per year

Basic Qualifications
- Bachelors degree in computer science, information technology, or a related field or equivalent experience.
- 6+ years of experience in a technical role in the cybersecurity field.
- Strong written communication skills with the ability to create clear and actionable security documents
- Strong organizational skills and the ability to prioritize work within and outside the team
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills to analyze complex cybersecurity issues and devise effective solutions.
- Proficient in strategic planning and risk management to anticipate and mitigate potential security threats.
- Skilled in implementing effective mitigation strategies to prevent security breaches and minimize damage.
- High level of integrity and professionalism to maintain the trust and confidence of stakeholders.
- Experience in implementing cybersecurity measures and protocols to safeguard the organizations digital assets.
- Adept at coordinating with various business units to ensure smooth operations and effective collaboration.
- Excellent verbal communication skills.
Preferred Qualifications
* Bachelors or masters degree in business administration, computer science, or a related field or equivalent experience.
* Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP) or Certified Information Security Manager (CISM) certification.
* Extensive experience working and collaborating with business and IT teams to successfully create a useful security reference architecture library.
