Senior Financial Operations Analyst

Job Description
Candidates near Scottsdale, AZ preferred but not required may be required to work in office weekly, as needed.

The Sr. Financial Analyst is responsible for a variety of tasks that support the operations and disbursement functions of the Pharmacy Payments department. These functions include, coordinating EFT set-ups, 835 electronic remittance file set-ups, returned mail, check voids/stops/re-issues, mailing remittance advices and checks, check staging, positive pay, record retention, and metrics reporting. Use the following systems: SAP, AS400, RECAP & banking systems. Support internal/external production or audit requests and resolve payment issues. Streamlines processes for improved efficiencies and controls while delivering superior service to internal and external customers. Help coordinate third party payment vendor issues and related resolution. Comply with financial controls in support of Sarbanes-Oxley, prompt pay laws, company policies, and other financial audit processes and initiatives. Supports team with the development and implementation of application enhancements/controls and process improvements. Complete ad-hoc projects as requested.

Pay Range
The typical pay range for this role is:
Minimum: 43,700
Maximum: 97,400

Please keep in mind that this range represents the pay range for all positions in the job grade within which this position falls. The actual salary offer will take into account a wide range of factors, including location.

Required Qualifications
2+ years of experience in a finance and customer service setting.

Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with automated financial and payable systems. General ledger, finance, accounting, banking knowledge. Requires attention to detail and the ability to work with a team. Strong MS Office skills (Excel and Word). Ability to work in fast paced environment with good interpersonal skills. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Knowledge of health insurance, managed care, prescription drug industry preferred.

Candidate should be a self starter, goal oriented, and innovative in their approach in achieving goals in a team environment.

Education
Bachelors degree or equivalent experience preferred.
