Job Summary:
Provide professional clinical assistance to patients within the clinic in support of the physicians in a practice located in Brockton

Responsibilities:
All clinical duties involving working on the floor and running a provider
Oversees workflow in the practice & ensures that appointments run smoothly
Communicates with physicians, staff, patients and management to meet deadlines & maintain quality patient care
Record patient history, chief complaint, pharmacy info, RX list, etc into EMR
Supply ordering and stocking of rooms
Phone triage, prescription refills, telephone communication with patients
Ordering tests, obtaining prior authorizations
Orients new Medical Assistants to practice and provides appropriate training
Performs AAFPT testing to maintain CLIA license
Completes a temperature log and medication log
Performs cycle counts of inventory on a monthly basis
Provides administrative support when in need
Additional duties as assigned

Qualifications:
Must have leadership abilities and demonstrate management skills
Education from approved medical assistant program or equivalent is required
Experience in a doctor's office setting required
Experience administering injections
Strong computer skills required
Experience with electronic medical record strongly preferred (Athena a plus)
Demonstrated experience in a fast paced work environment
Ability to perform telephone triage
Some travel required within the market
