Position Description
This a responsible professional position with limited administrative and supervisory duties at the unit level. Specific duties include testing, psychological evaluation and diagnostic services as well as counseling assigned patient caseload. This position functions under the supervision of a higher level licensed psychologist, but the individual has full professional responsibility for higher actions and advice.

Major/Essential Functions
  • Under direction of the TCHATT Psychiatrist, provide evidence based psychotherapy
  • Maintain current information on services available for adolescents and be available to conduct presentations as needed
  • Provides support to triage team for TCHATT program for patient assessments and treatment plan development
  • Collaborate with community agencies and providers to ensure access for service in line with Individual Treatment Plans
  • Communication: Communicates respectfully with team members and supervisor in a timely manner utilizing direct, complete, and adequate information. Communicates with outside social service and government agencies in a professional manner, upholding and adhering to privacy standards on behalf of the patients. Communicates effectively and productively with patients' family members as needed and permitted based on current policies. When problems arise they are addressed directly with the person(s) involved or speaks with their supervisor exclusively. Receives and is open to constructive feedback. Seeks feedback from others to improve clinical practice and safety
  • Coordinates and maintains filing / record keeping systems

Required Qualifications
  • Master's degree in psychology or a related field from an accredited college or university OR Doctoral intern student enrolled in an accredited psychology graduate program
  • 2 years of experience
