Salary: $90k to $110k
The position is responsible for leading creation of next generation data center network that scale to largest networks ever created. It involves design architecture /execute proof of concept, pilot and create migration strategy to ensure smooth transition. This position will lead efforts with industry to specify and develop new optical technologies and help ASIC vendors shape their chip roadmaps to produce silicon that meets the needs of cloud-scale deployments. This position also requires participation in "DevOps on call rotation" to troubleshoot and resolve production issues which serves a feedback loop to improve design. o Implementation of WAN, LAN, and datacenter networks with a focus on mission-critical, customer-facing applications and services
o Technical knowledge in networking (Cisco and non-Cisco) with an emphasis on software-defined networks (SDN) and leveraging spine & leaf designs, load balancing, firewalls, security design (intrusion detection and prevention), DNS, NTP, Network Tools & Management
o Technical knowledge common routing protocols (e.g., OSPF, BGP), IPv6, VPN, etc. across a global distributed network hands-on experience with the datacenter fabric platforms (Cisco, Arista, or equivalent) hands-on experience with common routing and switching platforms (Cisco, Juniper, HP/Aruba etc.)
o Deep experience in WAN and campus LAN design and implementation
o Experience with automating network functions through tools such as Chef, Puppet, Ansible, or Terraform
o Experience with writing Python applications to support network automation
o Understanding of legacy networking routing protocols and the interaction with cloud interconnects
o Experience with network load balancers, WAN optimizers, and Network virtualization.
o Technical knowledge and experience with telco and ISP networks, ensuring diversity and managing availability
o Demonstrated experience in delivering written documents detailing network solutions and diagrams
Job Description:
o IP, MPLS, backbone, and MSP/ISP engineering for a very large regional, national, or international MSO, CLEC, ILEC, ISP, or MSP
o Troubleshooting MPLS and TCP/IP routing, switching, transport, and/or transmission
o Juniper routers, switches, and firewall products, equivalent to a hands-on JNCIE-IP
o Cisco routers, switches, and firewall products, equivalent to a hands-on CCIE-RS
o Network security and firewalls
o Method-based time change management and troubleshooting
o Designing, implementing, and supporting large ISP and MSP infrastructure
o Automation tools, electronic processes, and data validation software/scripts
o QoS for VoIP-heavy core, edge, and access networks
o CPE associated to EoC, DoCSIS, MPLS, IP, DSL, copper and fiber Eth, DS-1, IPsec, and TDM/VoIP services
o Vendor contract negotiation and reviews
o Security and best operating practices across OSI layers 2-4"

o Certifications: CCIE/CCDP/CCNP equivalent
o Experience in running operations with ITIL processes / Project Management - PMP

o Experienced in running operations following ITIL processes.
o Experienced in writing RFPs solutions and presentations during client visits.
