Job Description:

The Senior Network Architect is responsible for interpreting organizational business, operations, and network needs and then designing, building, testing, implementing, and documenting WAN/LAN network solutions to align with those needs. The Enterprise Network Architect will have a thorough understanding of complex IT networks (both LAN and WAN), information security, and computer systems across the enterprise. This individual will serve as the lead design expert regarding network standards, in addition to implementing best practice network strategies and roadmap for the enterprise.

Experience:

This individual will review and enhance existing network solutions. This individual will architect new network solutions to ensure hosted/on-premises system network and high availability. Working with project management and interdepartmental teams, this individual will lead enterprise network system architecture design and implementation to meet current and future needs of the enterprise. Will coordinate and communicate with various levels of technical backgrounds and roles to design and implement solutions. This individual will establish and align solutions with enterprise architecture framework and agile principles. Will work in conjunction with business leaders and engineers to develop highly secure, available, and robust solutions in the cloud and on-premises. This individual will work with security to ensure that regulatory requirements and best practices are integrated and implemented. In conjunction with security team, revise strategy and solutions as needed based on a changing threat landscape. Promote new ideas, strategies, technologies, and concepts to improve network availability, and performance while reducing cost.

This individual will participate in future-state enterprise infrastructure, network, and security strategy development and execution. Lead design effort, configuration, implementation, and handoff to operational staff for enterprise networks and associated systems. Segregate networks into trust domains and access controls overlay to include real-time monitoring for breaches and forensics. Analyze network and systems traffic then procure best in class control mechanisms to enforce required security policy, including software and hardware solutions to enforce

required security policies. Must be familiar with enterprise architecture frameworks and agile transformation principles 10-15 years of Information Technology experience as an Engineer or Architect in Network design and performance. Experience at acute care healthcare organizations, or experience in another highly regulated industry, a plus. Expert knowledge of cloud network, security standards and best practices. Previous hands-on experience with network and security systems. Experienced with developing roadmaps that adhere to enterprise architecture methodologies. Must have excellent written and verbal communication skills. Proactive. Self-starter. Able to work independently.

Education
B.S. degree in Information Technology, Information Security, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or related field.

Licensure/Certification:

CISSP-ISSAP, CCNP Security, or equivalent..

CCSP, AWS, GCP, or Azure solutions architect certifications.
