Position Summary

We are seeking an experienced, perceptive, and creative Agile Senior Product Manager to evolve and work with IT/Engineering to deliver transformational initiatives within Customer Care Operations for Progress Residential. In this role you will gather business requirements, define strategy and priorities by collaborating with internal stakeholders and Executive leaders. This role will involve translating ideas into strategy and features within a defined Digital Product roadmap. You will be required to assess customer data from multiple sources and work with the other Product Managers build a robust backlog. Partnering with teams such as Engineering, Vendor Partners, Operations, Marketing, Sales, and Analytics, you will deliver value that directly influences the success of our company. Key Responsibilities


As a Senior Product Manager you will be accountable for:

* Developing the product roadmaps based on the functional gap areas, strategic vision and goals that you will contribute to forming and nurturing.
* Owning key stakeholder relationships across Engineering, Vendor Partners, Customer Operations, Marketing, Sales, and Analytics.
* Owning & contributing to product discovery and scope development by forming hypotheses, defining objectives and key results, and assessing options that will provide best outcomes.
* Partnering with internal stakeholders to define scalable solutions that meet current and future product needs.
* Creating & maintaining a rich feature backlog, defining scope, and prioritizing those features and user stories that maximize value for Progress and its customers and delivering against the product strategy and goals
* Delivering throughout the lifecycle of the product by being involved in sprint planning ceremonies and product release plans, creating clear sprint/increment goals, and managing the delivery of those features through the development lifecycle.
* Identifying areas of opportunity to reduce friction, and increase automation and approval rates, to provide better streamlined experiences via product enhancements.
* Improving efficiency, scale, and time-to-market with new features by leveraging and enhancing our global platform architecture by building strong partnerships with engineering and other stakeholder teams.
* Track and report key metrics to drive future product developments.
* Measure success of your products via aligned OKRs (Objectives & Key Results) and KPIs that matter (not vanity metrics).
* Lead and manage product managers and business analysts on key initiatives/projects.
* Presenting and communicating with leadership and business stakeholders on project status, product vision and future roadmap initiatives.
* Prepare recommendations to track product use, A/B testing initiatives and the impact on customers.
* Partner with the Customer Insights team to develop a closed feedback loop with our customers.
* Develop detailed process maps, functional specifications and user stories as needed during the product discovery and lifecycle.
* Manage a team of Product Managers, Web Support Team and Business Analysts.

We are looking for:

* 5+ years of previous Product Management experience with Agile development, working directly with IT/Engineering and business stakeholders.
* Highly organized individual who is detail oriented with a proven ability to manage and execute against multiple workstreams to solve complex problems.
* Assertive person with strong communication and collaboration skills. Should be able to simplify complex ideas, navigate cross-functional teams, build relationships, influence decisions, and deliver on shared objectives.
* Demonstrated ability to define the problem, analyze the data and processes to identify creative solutions and drive incremental improvement.
* A good balance of understanding business processes, and technical and functional knowledge.
* Curious, driven and diligent problem solver with a willingness to learn, challenge the status quo and collaborate to make an impact.
* A Test and Learn Mindset.

Educational qualifications

* Advanced degree is preferred but not required given a suitable combination of formal education and experience
* 5+ years of experience as a Product Manager focused on digital transformation and customer experiences.
* Agile experience is strongly preferred.

Knowledge/ Skills

* Ability to solve complex problems by breaking down to manageable phases.
* Good blend of analytical skills, technical knowledge, process expertise, project management and relationship building skills.
* A curious mind providing thought leadership and innovative digital solutions.
* Independent self-starter that thrives in unambiguous, constantly changing, high pressure environments.
* Clear, effective written and oral communication skills.
* Proven experience overseeing all elements of the product development lifecycle.
* Have the ability to write clear and effective user stories
* Have previous experience with Adobe Experience Cloud, Adobe Analytics, Adobe Target, Salesforce, Tethr, Noble or any other comparable phone tracking solution.
* Are familiar with Jira, Confluence, Asana and Sharepoint.
* Have a mobile first mindset and are passionate about user journeys.
* Have a product owner certification and/or are a certified scrum master.
